Scott joined the Firm as Of Counsel in 2007.  He is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and received his law degree from Columbia University Law School, were he served as an Articles Editor of the Columbia Law Review.

Scott is a trial lawyer, focusing his practice on criminal defense, family law, and civil litigation.  He has served as a federal prosecutor in the U. S. Attorney’s office in Philadelphia, and as a public defender in Chester County.  He practices in all of the county courts in the region, and has litigated in federal court in Philadelphia and around the country.

Scott lives in West Chester.  With his two sons, he is active in the Brandywine Youth Club and in the Brandywine YMCA, where he has coached a variety of sports.  He is an active volunteer with Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers and is a former member of the Board of Directors of Elwyn, Inc.
