1976             Appointed Independent Arbitrator for the Borough of Darby and Borough of Sharon Hill re:  Police Arbitration.

1980              Appointed Chairman, Borough of Darby Police Arbitration Panel.

1980-to date  Appointed Delegate to the Pennsylvania Bar Association House of Delegates.

1980-1983      Appointed by the Governor of Pennsylvania (Thornburgh) to the Trial Court Nominating Commission of Delaware County.

1981-1987     Appointed by the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania to a Disciplinary Hearing Committee.  Chairman, 1986.

1988-1991     Appointed by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania to the Disciplinary Board.  1989, 1990 Chairman, Rules Committee of the Disciplinary Board.

1991-1994      Reappointed by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania to the Disciplinary Board.  Vice Chairman 1992-93.  Appointed Chairman of the Board by the Supreme Court, 1993-94.

1991-1992      Appointed by Pennsylvania Bar Association as Delegate to the American Bar Association House of Delegates.

1994-1997      Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (Zone 9 Governor).

2001              Appointed instructor by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court for "Bridge the Gap" Program.

Adjunct Professor of Law - 1974, Widener University, Paralegal Course.

4/22/55 Testified before the United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, Subcommittee on United Nations Charter Revision.  Subject of testimony was revision of the United Nations Charter re voting procedures. 

1978    Lecturer - The Art of Negotiation - Pennsylvania Bar Institute (continuing legal education).

1981    Course Planner for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.  Formulated curriculum and selection of faculty and participated in presentation of course study in five cities.  Subject matter:  Law Office Management.
