Motor Vehicle Accident Causes Fatality and Injuries in ChesterOn Tuesday afternoon, a motor vehicle accident claimed the life of one driver and injured two others. Around 2 pm, the crash occurred when a Ford Explorer swerved into oncoming traffic and collided with a Nissan Sentra. Intersections between busy roads tend to be common places for a motor vehicle accident to take place, and may result in side-impact collisions or head-on crashes, which are both common and extremely serious types of accidents. Nearly 9,000 fatalities originate from side-impact collisions each year, and may cause minor to catastrophic injuries for occupants of both vehicles. Even if a victim survives a crash like this, they may experience physical and emotional trauma and a loss of income.
