Len, who is Chair of the firm’s Litigation and Personal Injury Department, concentrates his practice in automobile insurance law, medical malpractice, product liability, wrongful death, and other complex civil and personal injury litigation. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from Villanova University. He is a past president of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association (now PAJ) and has served on numerous committees for PAJ. He is also a past president of the Delaware County Bar Association. Len is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, where he served as a Zone 9 Governor and also was a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association House of Delegates. He is also a member of the Delaware and Chester County Bar Associations, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (now AAJ), and is a past member of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. He is co-author of the leading treatise on automobile insurance law, i.e., Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Insurance — An Analysis of the Financial Responsibility Law, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Editions, and all updates, which are published by PAJ. He has lectured for various organizations statewide including, PAJ, the State Trial Judges Convention, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Delaware County Bar Association, the Chester County Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Defense Institute. He also plans and teaches courses on Automobile Insurance Law across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Len has won many awards of achievement, including— the Delaware County Bar Association E. Wallace Chadwick Memorial Award for outstanding services to the legal profession in the furtherance of intraprofessional development, communication and education; the Delaware County Bar Association Paul R. Sand Award in appreciation for his efforts on fostering interest and respect for the law, in general, and Bar Associations, in particular; the Association Award of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association (PAJ) for his excellent service to the trial lawyers organization; the George F. Douglas, Jr. Amicus Curiae Award for outstanding and industrious appellate advocacy as amicus curiae counsel on behalf of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association: The Elizabeth C. Price Award of the Delaware County Bar Association, an award that is given to a person whose dedication, integrity and loyalty to the Bar Association most closely exemplify that of Elizabeth C. Price, Deceased, a beloved Executive Director.
Len Sloane is a Vietnam veteran, having served as a Lieutenant (jg) in the United States Navy aboard the USS Durham (LKA 114) in the Pacific Fleet. He is a past president of the West Goshen Lions Club in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and was a former assistant scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 21 in East Goshen, Chester County, Pennsylvania. He is married to Kathleen Fisher Sloane and has two children—Jennifer, who lives in Washington, D.C., and is the Director of Digital Strategy at the National Home Builders Association, and Chris, his son, who is an Eagle Scout and now lives in Philadelphia and is a Benefits Consultant for USI Affinity, Benefits Solution Group. Len is also a proud grandfather. His daughter, Jen, and her husband, John, have a wonderful daughter, Ava.
