Eckell Sparks is pleased to announce that Matthew J. Bilker, Esq., has been elected the 2026 President of the Delaware County Bar Association (DCBA). Matthew is an accomplished personal injury attorney who concentrates his practice on personal injury and civil litigation and municipal law. He represents clients in complex legal matters involving nursing home abuse and hospice neglect, medical malpractice, defective products, motor vehicle accidents, and general negligence.
Matthew is a veteran trial attorney and former Delaware County Assistant Solicitor who currently serves as Solicitor for the Marple Township Zoning Hearing Board and the Radnor-Haverford-Marple Sewer Authority. Since 2020, he has also served as the President of the Board of Directors for the Marple Newton School District.
Since its inception in 1872, the DCBA provides attorney networking, educational, and mentoring programs; supports competent, collegial, and ethical practice; and creates opportunities for attorneys, judges, and the public to work collaboratively for justice. Matthew also serves on the Executive Board of the DCBA’s Board of Directors and has conducted CLEs and seminars on behalf of the DCBA, as well as the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
Additionally, Matthew is a certified life member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum for attorneys who have won million and multi-million-dollar verdicts, awards, and settlements.
